I've used this wash a few times, usually not much of a problem. Yesterday I was trying to wash my mother's car and only soap was coming out of the rinse... had to go to another car wash.Update: I have not had a issue with them since.
The self service station I used could use a refresher. The dial to select soap option wasn't matching the description, found myself using tire decreaser on my car before I figured out what was wrong. The timer didn't display the countdown. Half of it was broken.Assuming that this is one of those chain car wash companies. They could do better. They clearly spent some money on the automatic wash instead of fixing up the self-service.In the end, I spent $10 for a quick rub down. I've been to better, less expensive self-service washes.
If you need a touch-free car wash to blow the dirt off between hand washes, this is a good place to go. No tracks in the floor on the automatic side so no worries of damaged wheels.
We have gone to the car wash in Marysville alot, and been to the one in Stanwood afew times. We like going because it is brushless and it does a pretty good job plus $14. it is worth it. Well we went today 12-30-2022 there was a line but we thought it was worth it, to wash my new car. So we waited our turn and went in like we usually did. It started out fine. Then the wand, that the water comes out started to bang against my new car right at the rear view mirror. My husband said "what the heck " and we drove out of the car wash on the middle of the wash. He told the lady in the next car. Then he paid another $5. to raise off my new car. I don't know why the wond went weird on us it didn't happen to the ones in front of us or behind us that we noticed. But we won't be back to the Stanwood car wash again ????. Not sure if we will go to the Marysville one again or not.
I’d like to start off by saying this place USUALLY does a decent job but as of today 11/1/2021 I will not be back. I chose the $11 wash and I don’t expect an automated wash to get everything. Got home (5 minutes away) and my entire vehicle doesn’t look like it was even touched. At all. A waste of my time and money.
Had to take my 85 K5 blazer 4x4 down to get it all cleaned up it had been setting underneath the tree for the last 3 months after I got my new Power Wagon so take off all the black !nd tree sap from the pine tree spent over an hour scrubbing it all back the the real color again to send it through Copart online action take it down Thursday to drop off then back to the car wash with another project to be cleaned up
Very convenient that they take cards, so you're not constantly putting in change. Got all the bugs off from our road trip. A lot of options to choose from for washing!
I love this place it's always clean friendly there's someone there all the time if you have issues which I've never had an issue but just always willing to help and assist and this is the place to get the car washed and a fair decent price also.
This is my go to!Edit, been coming here for years, today I happened to throw a few things out of my car before vacuuming and washing, (garbage= fast food bag and 2 drinks) and was verbally accosted by someone looking very dirty claiming to own the place. I retrieved several dollars of quarters to show him I'm a paying customer, he didn't care. Major jerk, avoid at all costs. I'll never go here again the place is poorly run anyways. Don't put a garbage can out for customers to use, then verbally assault them when they do.
It's everything you would expect a self service car wash to be. This is my second time there. I plan to visit regularly, and will improve my starts given if I am wowed.
Over $18.00 spent to wash my car and it still is not clean. The brush was soft but too soft to actually get my car clean just brushed over the residue. My car was not filthy just dirty from the rainy days last week.No light in stall so you can't see how good or bad you are doing on the vehicle. The hose kept kinking off the pressure too. The bar that holds it was stiff and took a yank to get it to move so those was not slapping your car while you navigated around the vehicle.I now have to wash it again. What a waste of water and money.
The automatic car wasn’t isn’t that great, but it’s good for a quick rinse off. A bit expensive for that. The hand wash is a much better value, and the equipment worked well.
Had a little difficulty washing my own vehicle but it was good. Took me 13 minutes and 8$. I do like there brush and water pressure. I usually love the vacuum area with the shampoo and spray, but sometimes the vacuum is clogged lol probably a way to get your money back in sure.
I love this place. Because we are a home detailing company, our trucks need to look clean and shiny every day. Stanwood Clean Spot helps us accomplish that.
Experience was good as far as self cleaning goes. We drove back around to ask the lady working there a question. She then proceeded to comment on the mess we made. I offered to sweep it up because it wasn’t intentional. She just said “no I got it.” I’m not one to complain but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
it has everything and in the morning there is a gentleman that come and check out all of the equipment emteys the trash ext.... so nice clean and functional..
It is Brushless and as long as you don't have too many bugs and too much dirt the drive thru works good but when your overdue for cleaning either do yourself at home or go thru 2x. For routine maintenance wash, wax its GREAT. gal that works there is awesome and super nice.
This is a pretty expensive place to go wash your car, considering you have to do it yourself. You end up spending just as much money as if you went to an automated car wash. But when you're 4x4 rig is covered in mud, this is a good place to go to do the initial hose down so you don't turn your driveway into a mud pit. That's really all I use it for.
After a trip to Idaho last week my truck was a complete mess with deicer and sand, coated top to bottom from the snow storm. I was very sceptical about a brushless wash.. but I am very impressed with the results, not perfect but impressive to say the least ! The owner was there to greet you and explain the process, and gave me a free air freshener and a discount for the wait ! Highly recommend and I will be returning !
Great car wash. I really like the touch less car wash that they just put in. But it seems like the air dryers at the end of the touch less car wash need to be angled just slightly more, they seem to be just pointing straight down and don't move as much water. You can pay at all washing stations with card which is nice.
Got the laser car wash ultimate version for nineteen dollars. Did a really nice job and the polish as well. There were some more stubborn bits it did not get off but then again it is a jet wash not a human scrubbing the dirt off. Good value would get it again but maybe try the basic to see the difference.
NO HOT WATER!! All that money and there was no hot water to wash your car in the self service! The pressure of the wands is NIL, at best. The foaming brush is marginal as well. Unexpectedly, I pulled into the self-service stall next to the automatic car wash and got absolutely SOAKED from the dirty water overspray over the top of the wall from other vehicles going through!! Disgusting! I am going to write the owner and ask for my money back! Also this place makes you use their tokens instead of quarters, which is pretty annoying. I spent $11 on a car wash and my car is still pretty filthy because of the NO hot water situation. I have pictures of all of this too but don’t know how to upload them here. :-/I give it 1-star because it’s clean and up in a good spot. I like the location, it’s not too crowded.
Self service car wash, carpet shampooer, fragrance machine & vacuums... All the equipment works & there's isn't trash laying around. You can use your debit card or bills or coins.
The owner literally just washed my car for me!! We went through the "Laser Clean" automatic car wash with the most basic wash setting. When we were done, the owner happened to be there & noticed our car. She said they were working out some kinks with the new wash & didn't deal like it was quite up to her standard so she washed our car herself in the self wash! Unprompted, she was instantly willing to make sure we had the best experience with this car wash place. That, to me, shows real quality in a business. Thank you! Will definitely be coming back!
Spent $11 to wash my truck on the way to Camano for the weekend. Could not be happier with results. I don't know where the less than four star reviews are coming from. This is a self service wash station and you will get wet. No dirt or spots left on my rig.
